Guide to Infinite Pie

Recommended Posts

Requirements: At least 20 GP or 32 Cooking (With Chef's Hat)

Location: Rimmington to Lumbridge or The Cooking Guild to the Grand Exchange

Items Needed: Pot of Flour and Bucket of water OR Pastry Dough.

There are two ways to go about this, one involves more work but proves to give more profit the other is for those who have a small amount of money already (At least 500 GP) and already have 32 Cooking (Plus the illusive Chef's Hat or Varrok 3 Armor).

Poor Cook Method

The poor man's way is to Mine Clay at Rimmington, walk to Draynor Village and Craft it into a Pie Dish after getting the clay wet at the farm south of Falador. Make sure to have a bucket on you that you can refill and use on the clay in your inventory.

Once you have made a sufficient number of Pie Dishes, make your way to Lumbridge with a large number of pots and a few buckets. Leave room for wheat picking. Use the mill to create pots of flower. Then fill the bucket with water and use the two together to create Pastry Dough. Deposit ALL Pastry dough into your bank until there it equals the number of pie dishes you have.

Once this is done, fill your inventory with 14 Pie Dishes and 14 Pastry Doughes. Use them on each other. Deposit and repeat until each Pie Dish has become a Pie Shell. These sell for nearly 1.2k each. This is about as much as one Addy Ore. So with all your stats at Level 1, you could make as much as someone who has 72 Mining.

Rich Cook Method

This method does not provide as much profit, but does save TONS of time. It requires a Chef's Hat, Some sum of money and 32 Cooking.

Purchase any number of Pastry Dough in the GE. They Cost roughly 441 Gp ea. Once they are purchased, fill an inventory up with them and run to the Cooking Guild (If you have Varrok 3 Armor this is even faster for you as you will have access to the bank in the Cooking Guild). Go to the top floor where a Pie Dish spawns every 60 seconds. If you have a full inventory, drop one pastry dough and pick up the pie dish. Use a pastry dough on the pie dish and pick the pastry dough you dropped back up.

Repeat this process until you have a full inventory.

World hopping will make this faster by 20 seconds per Pie Shell.

Once an inventory is complete, deposit the Pie Shells for another invnetory of Pastry Dough.

Conclusion

100 Pie Shells will earn you nearly 120k. You can make 1 Pie Shell for NOTHING or you can make one for 441gp and sell it for 1,200gp.

Note: Those who have completed Recipe For Disaster can purchase Pie Dishes in the chest below Lumbridge for 3gp ea. There are also other shops that sell the dishes, but they are limited to 8 and re-spawn very slowly.

Note2: The chest below Lumbridge also sells pots of flower which can save money on Pastry Dough if one has done Recipe for Disaster.

Wow, it's amazing how easy it is to make money ohmy.gif and you could probably use the shells as junk items for trading (if it's not selling)

Nice Mini Guide! It was short, simple, and concise.

Nice Mini Guide! It was short, simple, and concise. If you wanted to, you could add pictures of what your inventory should look like each time, and locations on the map, that would really help some newer players too.
