  1. I own a red partyhat, but my favorite color partyhat is white. Before the removal of free trade, a friend lend me his white partyhat, and was awesome!!! Red would be awesome, but unfortunately it looks like a bronze med with my brown hair, and I don't want to change my hair because in my opinion, other styles of hair and color looks bad regardless of wearing a partyhat or not.

  2. Been away for a month or two and it appears my account was subject to an inactivity-wipe. :\

Hm, if that's the case, I'll notify somebody to see if your original account can be restored. Try nagging one of the Leaders in the clan chat or IRC. :D

    Edit: Welcome back. :)

  3. Yes, I have read he rules and fully understand them.

Ah! So close, but there is a secret message that you must strictly follow. We are pretty picky about this. :P Please go back to the secret message and read it more carefully.

By the way, I love your mining level. :)

  4. I also enjoy playing airsoft with friends, although getting shot may not be too fun ;)

Have you ever gone paintballing (like Shadow)? It's superior to airsoft gun. I used to go paintballing every week. I wish I could go back. A friend broke my gun and I've been too poor to buy a new one. :(

  5. A lot of people post in the Welcome Wagon things they do in RuneScape, but sometimes you don't want to talk about RuneScape when you're playing RuneScape. I've always prompted new members to share their hobbies, majors/minors in school, goals in real life, etc. I think this will be an interesting and useful thread for people to find others that share a common interest in a hobby they do in real life that isn't RuneScape related. So...

When you're not mining and smithing in RuneScape or spamming MaSoRs, what are your other hobbies? Do you solve puzzles? Do you study? Do you read? Play Black Ops, or whatever it's called?

Like usual, I'll start.... I enjoy reading and solving Rubik's cubes. I am currently a little more than half way through The House of God by Samuel Shem. Sometimes I get tired of reading the same thing so I am going over some of the stuff I read in Rapid Interpretation of EKGs by Dubin Dale. I understand a lot of the concepts in that book, but I am going over the more specific types of syndromes instead like Brugada Syndrome, Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, and it's encouraged me to look online for other syndromes or unique conditions that I'd be able to detect using an EKG. I love puzzles especially Rubik's cubes. I own a 2x2x2 all the way to a 7x7x7. I can solve all of them. I wish they had larger ones. Supposedly the company that made the 6x6x6 and 7x7x7 claims they can make up to a 11x11x11, but they haven't yet, and they've been saying they would for several years now. :( I want to be able to solve a 3x3x3 (the normal one) in less than a minute consistently, but it takes me about a minute and half (usually slight less than that) to solve.

    Pour your heart out. :)

  6. I was the same way with my partyhat. I hadn't merchant partyhats since purple was 156m, yellow was 180m, green was 190m, red was 220m, and I don't recall the price of white and blue because it wasn't within my price range. I think white was 250m and blue was 300m, but that's a rough estimate of the price in late 2007. Anyhow, I decided to give it a shot, and it was just like back then, but a million times better. Everything is so much more quicker and the profits are bigger. The actual wealth is equal or less though. I make 5-10m profit per trade instead of 500k-1m, but back then everything was so much cheaper (at least all the good stuff). ^_^ Now everything is super expensive. :(

  7. speaking of a failure at merching "me" what should i merch if have 1-2mil cash that i can use for merching i never seem to choose the right items to merch or how to tell when to drop them all any tips or maybe even a guide to how to know what to merch would be greatly appreciated :runepick:

For me, it's important to know the item. Like when I buy/sell an item, it has to be something I am comfortable with. At first you gotta find it though. I would take a stab at oak logs since bonux xp is coming up, but it's really just about finding what you like. I told a story about how a guy was trying to merchant partyhats and lost 1m to me and hated it. I merchant partyhats everyday and make a lot of money. Oh, I'd also try not to think about GE prices going up and down like "Oh, if I buy this today, I can sell it tomorrow for +1 gp ea", but rather "I buy this today for x price and I sell it immediately afterward for y price". You could do it the whole GE way, but that's slow and more risky in my opinion.

Guthian, why do you think it takes the fun out of the game? :(

  8. With the return of free trade, I started merchanting again. I wondering what's the opinion of the clan and the RuneScape public with merchanting. Do you like or hate it? Do you think it ruins the game? Do you merchant? Etc.

I've been merchanting partyhats, and I love it. <3

  9. For a long time, I played on my first account, I did everything I could do not to die. When I did die like a month or two later, I lost everything: pickaxe, money, tinderbox, etc. I had no idea how to get it back so I decided to create my second account ever (the one I currently play on). I didn't find out until months later how to bank things, how to get a tinderbox (which I figured out killing imps would do the trick, still had no idea about the general store).

I think I was the one that figured out how to right click on the Mac first with the tool thing on RuneScape and then eventually figuring out you can hold the option key or something like that. Been awhile since I was on our Mac. That Mac looks very very very old.

  10. Not that I know of. I guess I read some people said it was suppose to happen last year (2010), but it seems to be a common topic in Future Updates in RuneScape Official Forum. I have no idea what sparked it, but that makes me think it might happen soon. Also according to RuneScape wiki, it's being worked on according to Jagex (Oo... I used according three times in the same sentence).

A Smithing update is in the works according to Jagex.

    Hey guys,

I'm sat near the devs today and I can hear a lot of exciting chat about the Smithing update.

It's not going to be in February, but hopefully soon!

That was a long time ago so no idea why it's been a common topic in Future Updates. I'm interested in too hence why I chose to train smithing like I said earlier. If they raise the max to 120 though, I might cry a little. It'll be awesome, but I don't know if I'll be able to go above 99. It's so expensive!

  11. I thought that was crazy to read on the wiki. I wonder how accurate that is. Smithing has been the same since I started playing RuneScape in early 2004.

We got other armor now like bandos and other god armor that replace dragon.

If they want to keep the price of dragon up, maybe they should make the ore only dropable by dragons? Haha, that'd be weird. I think dragon is like the new rune armor. A lot of people risk most of it in the wilderness now except dragon full helm, platebody, and chain. I think all the other ones are cheap, right? Oh, and claw is expensive too, but people one item with that. Even though dragon is defintely more expensive than what rune armor used to be (220k/set), gp is a lot less valuable too I think thanks to all the 76kers.

  12. Awhile ago Jagex indicated that they would be updating the smithing skill. I've been browsing RuneScape Official Forum and a lot of members speculate that it will be happening soon. Do you think it needs to be revamp? If there is an update, what do you think/hope it will be? Do you think they'll change the levels around? According to RuneScape wiki, they have done that before.

In early 2001, Smithing had very different requirements. For example, players needed level 96 Smithing to make steel platebodies rather than level 48. (Source)

My English teacher would kill me for using a wiki as a source by the way. :x

Do you think they'll increase the max level to 120 like dungeoneering? Do you think the update will happen soon?

Since we are a mining and smithing clan, professionals at these two skills, I hope the public will find our thoughts on this valuable. ^_^

I'm hoping they increase the maximum level to 120, release dragon ores, introduce new dragon equipment, and make them smithable. I think this is plausible since most dragon equipment is cheap now, they don't have too much more to introduce, and getting beyond level 99 will still be expensive and difficult. I believe the update will happen within the next month or two, which is what encouraged me to spend 50m to get level 99 smithing, lol.

  13. I'll give you that. All you need to do is speak in game to one of our Moderators (Elite Member (EM), Advistory Council (AC), Senior Member (SM), or Leaders) in game, and then wait for a Leader to bump your status up from Validating to Member. The best way to reach a Moderator is our clan chat (M_A_S_O_R_S).

  14. Lets give our future members an idea of what kind of clan they are signing up for. Please list one thing you like about the clan with or without an explanation. Is your favorite thing in this clan the events? That you're in a non PK clan? That we allow affiliates/associates to post on the forum so even though they aren't a part of the clan, they can still interact with the community (for folks who are in another clan with a single clan rule)? That you aren't required to show up to events? Is your favorite thing the forums? The clan chat? Folks in IRC? Is your favorite thing Aprz because he's a cool guy? I'll start!

My favorite thing about Masors is the caring community here.

Everytime I log into RuneScape, stop by IRC, or go on the forums, I always have somebody to talk to. The majority of people I talk to on the Internet are Masors member. I signed up for Masors and bammed my friend list was full, I had all sorts of options to talk with different people inside or outside of the game, I can tell them an accomplishment like "I just got level 80 smithing" and they'll congratulate me instead of what a lot of RuneScape players seem to say like "good for you idc". They know me by my first name, they know the things I like, they are there for me when I am upset about dying in game, school not going to well, maybe an argument I had with a friend that day. They'll give me input, advice, and influence me in RuneScape and real life.

Edit: OWYN, I am there for you. Sorry about your shirt! :(
